Tiptree Community Church
We are a group of people who meet together as part of our commitment to follow Christ. We are team-led, each with different gifts and talents and like to use these to serve believers and the local community.
Our purpose is:
– To be alive and active in the community by worshipping God, developing Christian faith and revealing God’s love to all
– To provide a varied and inclusive program to facilitate discipleship and growth
– To be worshippers in spirit and in truth
– To ensure that we reach out to the local area, living and sharing the gospel
– To be a warm and welcoming congregation of believers
– To communicate effectively with each other, the church and the local community
– To use our resources wisely
– To have a standard of excellence in all we do
Tiptree Community Church was formed in October 2015 from a small group of Christians who wanted to meet together on a Sunday morning. We have a variable programme, including Cafe Church, prayer, communion, worship and teaching, and also benefit from visiting speakers and musicians. Our emphasis is to encourage everyone to engage in Christian discipleship in a friendly and welcoming environment.
The best way to find out more about us is to come and see – we meet at 10.30 am each Sunday in The Elliot Hall, Tiptree Community Centre.
